Originally a 280SE Low Grill 6-cylinder Cabriolet, this car was completely restored and re-engineered using a Mercedes 560SL V8 engine and automatic transmission, as well as a 300SEL 6.3 differential. It was restored to its present condition by a marque specialist in the San Francisco bay area who is known for his quality-engineered Mercedes conversions.
